Veronica Mars Sverige

Weevils mormor, som jobbar som städerska åt Echolls-familjen, blir anklagad för kreditkortsbedrägeri och arresteras. Advokaten Cliff McCormack som representerar mormodern ber Mars Inversigations om hjälp att fria henne, han tror att det är Weevil som istället är skyldig och Veronica börjar leta bevis mot honom. Några bevis hittar hon dock inte, snarare motsatsen, men när hon meddelar detta till Keith och Cliff visar det sig att Weevil redan erkänt brottet.

Veronica tycker inte allt står rätt till med fallet och beslutar sig för att fortsätta undersöka ledtrådarna. Först misstänker hon att det är Logan som är skyldig, men hon hittar heller inga bevis mot honom. Ledtrådarna pekar istället mot Logans flickvän Caitlin och det visar sig att hon haft ett hemligt förhållande med Weevils kusin Chardo och att det är Chardo som är den skyldige. Weevil är väldigt tacksam för Veronicas hjälp och hon tipsar även honom om att Logan är ute efter hämnd mot Chardo, något som Weevil lyckas stoppa i sista sekund, bara för att sen själv kicka Chardo från motorcykelgänget och låta gänget ta hand om hämnden.

I skolan börjar Veronica jobba för skoltidningen och redan första uppdraget blir besvärligt då hon måste sammarbeta med Duncan, hennes fd pojkvän. På väg hem från uppdraget stannar en polisbil dem och säger att de inte får fortsätta köra för bilen har obetalda böter. Bilen tillhör Kane-familjen och det visar sig att det finns en obetald böter från den 3 oktober förra året, samma dag som Lilly mördades, och det var Lilly som hade kört bilen. Veronica blir nyfiken och tar reda på vad Lilly fått böter för just den dagen och det visar sig att hon hittat bevis som visar att Lilly var vid livet 2 timmar efter det att hon påståtts ha mördats. Något är väldigt fel, tiden för mordet stämmer inte, och detta innebär att hela Kane-familjen inte längre har alibi för mordet.

Wallace: Another big Friday night. You got plans?
Veronica: I don't know. I might take Backup for a run or rent a movie, maybe.
Wallace: Hey, congratulations. You are officially Neptune High's most boring person.
Veronica: Did I mention the movie might be PG-13?
Wallace: Oh, jump back, wild child!
Veronica: What about you, Wallace? Your life still a non-stop Nelly video?
Wallace: Hey, at least I want my life to be a non-stop Nelly video.

Weevil: My reputation? Oh, well, then I guess what everybody says about you is true, too, huh? That you, you like it a little freaky. Don't you? That you spy on Duncan Kane, that you send him pictures of yourself? Be honest, Veronica-you think you're this big outsider. But push comes to shove? You're still one of them. You still think like one of them. Take off. I don't want you around here.

Wallace: Do I look like James Bond to you?
Veronica: Am I asking you to retrieve a nuclear warhead? No. Just copy the attendance records. It's cake. Fácil.

Veronica: I was thinking maybe I could just take pictures?
Ms Dent: Well, I'm not sure if you could just do that, but we can start there. Do you have any experience with a camera?
Veronica: Yeah. Some.
Ms Dent: This is a 35 mm camera. Now, my suggestion, as you're starting out, is to set it on auto and that way -
Veronica: I'd really be more comfortable if I could just use my own camera. Uhm, the swivel LCD really comes in handy when you're doing overhead shooting or ground-level macro-shooting. The optical zoom actually goes up to 71.2 mm. And it's good to have the raw-file option because you can mess with the images post exposure without nearly the loss of image quality you'd get with a JPEG file.
Ms Dent: And... when it's dark outside, you should use a flash.

Ms Dent: Duncan Kane, this is Veronica. Veronica's going to be taking pictures tomorrow, and I arranged for you to ride with Bodie's parents.
Duncan: I'll drive.
Ms Dent: Great, maybe Veronica can...
Veronica: I can drive too.
Ms Dent: Okay. Oil crisis be damned.

Wallace: Yeah, you realize, don't you, that this guy you're trying to help out duct-taped me butt naked to a flagpole just last week?
Veronica: Man, you really hold a grudge.
Wallace: Yeah, I'm funny that way.

Logan: Tell the truth, Veronica. Did you just sign up for newspaper class so you could be around Duncan?
Veronica: No, I'm here so I could be closer to you.

Veronica: I printed out the entire browser history from Logan Echolls' computer in his fourth period computer lab class.
Wallace: So is he guilty?
Veronica: Well, of wanting desperately to see pictures of Alyssa Milano naked, yes.

Troy: Flat?
Veronica: Just as God made me.

Troy: Are you always this persnickety?
Veronica: Sometimes I'm even persnicketier.

Troy: I'm Troy, by the way.
Veronica: I'm Veronica.
Troy: Really? Veronica. Okay, yeah, that does make a lot more sense.
Veronica: Makes more sense how?
Troy: Ah, it's nothing. It's just...never listen to those guys. I mean, really, who names their daughter Trampy McBitch?

Veronica VO: I should have walked to Gold Coast. It's only 30 miles, but with the awkward silence, it feels like 300. In five seconds, I'm just gonna do the Charlie's Angel roll right out of the moving car. 5...4...3...

Lilly: Why'd you join pep squad, Veronica?
Veronica: Um, the PE credit. You?
Lilly: Veronica, I suffer from too much pep. I needed a pep outlet. Plus, Sassy says girls who join the clubs really get the fellas.
Veronica: 'Cause you really need a lot of help on that front.
Lilly: Well, you know what my mom says. You have to kiss a few toads... That's it. That's her entire philosophy.

Veronica VO: They gave me a choice. I could stand by my dad, or stand by Duncan and my dead best friend's family. I chose Dad. It's a decision I live with every day. And you want to know the kicker? I don't even know what's true anymore. Maybe everyone else is right. Maybe Dad screwed up the investigation. Maybe I gave up my circle of friends - my life - over an error in Dad's judgement.

Veronica: Can we stop by the Neptune Grand?
Keith: What for?
Veronica: The Navarro case. I need a little help.
Keith: Isn't that already solved? I thought that they had the confessed criminal in jail.
Veronica: ...
Keith: Oh, all right. Fine. What do you need me to do?

Veronica VO: Is it that easy? Say "Maybe I was wrong" and get my old life back?
